Hi Sam,

What a little cutie! Sophie is darling. I missed your post on her birth - the 11th (all 11's) are significant to me, so this is just right to Auntie Val! Congratulations, I know your heart is torn right now, but there is little more holy than a sweet newborn, Sophie is lucky to have you and she will warm some of the painful spaces left by your mum.

Scotty was born and died on the 11th. 11 has turned up in numerous places- far too many to seem coincidental since his death. 11:11 is also supposedly a time of luck, invoking spirits and making wishes, opening a portal. As I had encountered this number in various forms, dates, times, dollars so, SO often, I googled. 11 through the ages has been part of many schools of thought, religions, philosophies, sciences - so I am not the only one noticing it, right? The "11:11 phenomenon" is quite interesting whether one believes it or not and I apparently do because 11 appears so very often and even as I examine the past using numerology and other methods in my "11:11 phenomenon" googled finds it has been prevalent. Scott was born at 2:36, (2+3+6=11) on 2/11/90 (11/2/90 in parts of the world...11/2+9+0=11=11/11. Died 7:40, also 11 when added. Even the dates of my and my husbands births give me 11's...its uncanny. Those are the easy examples... but 11 is always there.

Whether there is REAL significance in 11, 11:11, 1111, 11/11/11, $11.11.....or not I am happily 'awakened' and in the moment each time it appears. So Sophie's birthday is now part of a long, long trip I seem to be on. 7/11/11-If 7 is lucky and we couple it with (the powerful?) 11/11 for day AND year of Sophie's birth she (or add7+1+1+1+1=11!) ...well, she will be amazing if the phenomenon and it's followers are correct.

There is a crisp cleanness to 11. Svelt and balanced, and not fussy, stoic and strong. Perhaps Sophie will display some similar attributes. If the ancient scholars and sages are right about the power in the number Sophie will be quite a lifeforce, just as Scott was and still is.

I am a Christian and this may all seem contrary to that, but God put order in all things and this fits with my beliefs just fine. Even the Freemasons believe there is power in numbers, geometry, sequence...so you take from this what speaks to you.

Kiss Sophie's sweet cheeks for me

Hi Sam. I am behind. I just now looked at the picture of your beautiful Sophie. What a wonderful gift from God! She looks just like an angel. I hope she is able to lift some of the grief from your heart. (((hugs))) to you!

Hi, Sam, yes it is a roller coaster ride. Please give yourself more time.
It's been 18 months for me, and I still ride the ups and downs too.

I believe without a doubt that your baby girl will help you heal - in time.
You can't yet comprehend how much JOY she will be for you! Please,
please do post often as she begins to grow, and smile, and laugh...
and more pictures too, please!
