Dear Friends,

Moderators are the people who hold the Suicide Grief Support Forum together; they are the heart of this message board. (And, moderators are all volunteers who give our time here in memory of the people we lost to suicide.)

A new person has joined our Moderator Team: Crystal. (user name crisa).
Crystal lost her boyfriend, John ,to suicide, and she also has lost other friends and family members to suicide.
We believe that Crystal will continue to do a good job of sharing, reaching out, and supporting others, and we appreciate that fact that she's willing to go the extra mile to be a moderator.

Aww, well Thank Y'all! Blossom, how sweet of you!
When I hung up the phone after accepting this position, I screamed, "Yay!" Then tears went down my face! GOOD tears! It was a combination of the reality of how far I have come in this journey and that I get to continue to help others w/ their journey!
Then my phone rang and it was my dear friend who I met when I was in nursing school, he's a doctor. I told him what was going on and he said, "Woman, I don't think there has ever been a person in this world I have ever been more proud of, on that note, will you marry me?" I said, "You know I really should get around to doing that oneday!"
I am honored to have this opportunity! I have no doubt that oneday when I look back on my life, this will be one of the proudest moments of my life and being a moderator on this board will be one of the best things I ever did with my life!
Let this new journey begin!

Hey Crisa

I know I haven't posted for quite a while until this past weekend, but I do still come onto the site quite regularly and today saw this wonderful announcement. You have and continue to be an amazing pillar of support. From the time I joined the site a year ago to now, you have been a true blessing with words of wisdom. I am so happy to hear that you are a moderator and from my heart to yours I wish you continued success. Congratulations, special Crisa.

Dragonfly! Thank you! I think of you often! I was wondering if my bf, who suicided, would be proud of me! He did take alot of pride when others had good things to say about me! I wish he could be here for me to say, "Baby guess what, this is happening." I wish I could hear him say he was proud of me. Oneday, though! Though I talk to him and he can't talk to me, I feel like things between us are now peaceful. I feel like there's no more anger! He's at peace and I'm at peace!I look forward to the day when we see each other again and we get to hug each other! Until then I will continue to make him proud! I will continue to make myself proud! This is my life story, everyday I add to that story and though there is and will be things I would have never decided to add to my story, I still have the power to make it the best story possible!
