I attended the conference held in Clearwater, FL. Last year I went for the first but don't remember much of what happened. I felt I was there as an "extra" or someone to help fill in a seat -- it wan't for ME this conference was held; it was for others.
This year was very different -- the 17th was exactly 22 months since I lost my son. I was at the conference in kinship with others like ME and my seat seemed to have been "labeled" especially for ME! Though I didn't want to there, in the end, I felt that I didn't want to leave.

What a difference, what a sad, sad difference.
Until I see you in Heaven, my beautiful boy. I will always love you, Mom.

Yes, I was in the New York City venue and found the video this year to be very touching and important to me. I learned a lot and grieved all 6 suicides of close people in my life, not only Jacob.
